Obviously we can’t book in the exact date of your session- but I can pencil in your due date. I do this as I only take a limited amount of newborn bookings a month to make sure everyone gets a spot. Once bubs arrives its best to contact me as soon as possible and we can get you in. Newborn sessions are held on Weekdays.
Sessions are held in my Nairne studio and a average session can last around 2 hours.
The studio is always kept nice and warm so bubs is comfortable being naked. During winter I suggest wearing layers to your session. I also have a really comfortable couch I encourage you to rest on while you can! This is sometimes the first time you are leaving your house so please don’t stress if on the morning of your session you are running 5 mins late. I have been there, I understand.
My studio is also full of blankets, props, beanies and headbands – actually way to many!- so there is no need to bring anything for bubs to your session. However if you have something special you would like included (like a toy, special blanket or even yours or partners work related props) then please bring them along! I love including things from home. I also ask that if you plan on using a dummy bring that along too as this can help on the day with soothing.
With siblings I do suggest bringing a charged phone/IPad, a toy and snacks to entertain them. Bringing a snack for yourself is also a good idea too.
During your session we work at your babies pace, feeding and settling when needed.
A lot of your babies session will be spent with he or she naked, for this reason I expect little accidents. Please don’t worry if one of my blankets or props gets dirty. Everything I own is washable. I do suggest brining a spare top -just in case- if you plan on headed out after your session.

Maternity sessions are $300 and can be on location or studio – with heading into beautiful weather I like to make the most of the sunsets ? these come with a online gallery where 15 images can be downloaded ?

Hi, I would like more info on the pricing and packages please for the newborn. Also if you have some maternity+newborn. For maternity, I am after some simple ones for memory…nothing scenic or too posed so thats optional for now.
